For me, I prefer use RMXP. Cause RMXP is easy to use. RMVX is quite difficult for me. But I like all of Icons from RMVX as well so, I take them Very Happy

RMXP, has lot more layers than vx and tilesets aren't that limited *whisper whisper* but there is already a way in vx to have a more flexible tilesets
